How we check.
A directory is only worth reading if you can see where each line came from. So every entry on CROSS says which page we read, when we read it, and what we did not find.
One page per studio, read by a person
We open the studio’s own website, read the page that describes its services, and write down only what is printed there. A blog post about a studio is not evidence about that studio, so it is only ever used to find the studio, never to describe it.
Every claim carries its own status and date
Nothing on this site is marked “verified” as a whole. A price, a service and a location are separate statements, each with its own source, its own status and the date we looked. If we did not find something, the entry says where we searched and when — instead of leaving a blank that looks deliberate.
Prices are quoted, never estimated
A figure appears only if it is printed on the studio’s page, and then it is quoted in the claim, not just linked. Where a studio publishes no price, the entry says “not published” and keeps the date. We never convert, round or guess a rate.
Nothing here is for sale
No studio pays to be listed, ranked or badged. There are no affiliate links, no booking fees, no commissions. The only way onto this list is having a studio with a working website that we can read.
Studios disappear — we say so
Dressing services close quietly and their domains get bought by someone else. When a studio we listed stops answering, we move it to the closed list with the reason we found, rather than deleting the trail.
The four statuses
| Status | What it means | When it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Checked by us | We looked at the source and quoted what we found. | The evidence text contains the finding, not just a link. |
| Their own words | The studio says it about itself. No independent confirmation. | The statement sits on the studio’s own website. |
| Not found | We did not find it — which is not proof it does not exist. | Always with where we looked and when. |
| Outdated | It was evidenced once and is no longer valid. | After a re-check where the statement had disappeared. |
What we do not do
- —We do not book, broker or take payment for any session.
- —We do not vouch for the safety, legality or quality of a studio — read their site, ask them questions, start with a short session.
- —We do not publish reviews or ratings: we have not visited these studios as clients.
- —We do not list studios whose site we could not read. “Unreachable” is a finding, not a listing.
Found a mistake?
Write to hello@premarcu.com. A correction needs the new wording on the studio’s own site — we do not change a claim because someone asks, because then the list would just be everyone’s marketing.
